Read This Out Loud

Not in your head. Out loud. A whisper counts.

Words you scroll past are gone by morning. Words you say with your own mouth go somewhere. So find your voice, even if it shakes. Especially if it shakes.

Ready?

You are still standing.

Read that again, slower, because you just skimmed past a miracle. The thing that hit you was built to take you down for good. The betrayal. The loss. The door that closed. It came at you with everything it had.

And you are still standing.

That didn't happen by accident. That's a fighter. And don't you dare say you're not one, because nobody survives what you survived sitting down.

Getting up anyway is the hardest thing a human being ever does. And you did it with no applause, no witnesses, no one cheering your name. Just you, a heavy morning, and a God who missed none of it. Not one single time.

So no. You are not starting from nothing. You're starting from experience. From scars that prove your healing already works. From a faith that got dragged through fire and is still, right now, reading a page like this one, still looking for a reason. That's not an empty tank. That's an arsenal.

And that dream you buried to survive? Go dig it up. It's still breathing. God doesn't plant dreams that die. He plants dreams that wait. And yours has been waiting for exactly the woman you are now: tougher, wiser, done wasting one more day on things that don't matter. The old you couldn't have carried it.

This you can.

So here's what's over, starting tonight. No more calling it too late while God's still writing. No more shrinking to fit a season He's already finished with. No more waiting to feel ready. Ready was never a feeling. It's a decision. Make it afraid if you have to, but make it.

Now the last part is nobody's but yours. Say it out loud, right now, and mean it a little more every time you come back:

I am still standing.

What tried to break me didn't finish the job.

My dream is alive because my God is alive.

I will rest when I'm tired . . . but I will not quit.

It's not over. It's not even close.

God's not finished with me yet.

Now go to bed, or go to work, or go cry it out. All three are allowed.

But come back and say those words again tomorrow. And the day after. Say them until your voice stops shaking . . .

Then keep saying them. Because that's the day the fight turns.
